Glossary of pool, billiards and snooker terms - The following is an incomplete list of traditional terms used in the game of billiards.
Golf (billiards) - Golf is a pool game usually played for money. Unlike most pool games, it allows for more than two people to play with no compromises.
Chicago (billiards) - In some pool rooms, two popular "money ball" games are Nine Ball and Chicago. High dollar Chicago games are usually played on the best table with tournament grade pool table felt in the room and one can count on many spectators.
Pocket Pool - This article is about the action known as "Pocket Pool" and is not related to the game of pool which generally refers to billiards games such as 8-ball, 9-ball, or Straight pool.
